A Backflow inspection is also required on newly installed irrigation systems, regardless of the date installed. The initial inspection must be submitted to the district once the installation has been completed.

• If the date of installation falls within 30 days prior to, or 30 days after the annually scheduled requirement date of May 31st, you will not be required to submit another inspection until the following year, at which time you will be included in our annual schedule.
• However, if the initial inspection was performed outside of the 30-day grace period, you will be required to submit an inspection as part of the annual inspection schedule.

New Construction Homes

If you receive notification from our office requesting a copy of the initial inspection, we suggest you check with your builder. An initial inspection may have been completed but not submitted to our office.
